At Pretoria North School, we welcome all children who are eager to learn and explore the world around them. Whether you’re starting your child’s educational journey with our Montessori pre-school or transitioning them into our primary school, we provide a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Our admission process is straightforward. For pre-schoolers, we accept children aged 3 to 6 years. This includes Grade R. Children entering the primary school, must meet the age criteria for the grade they are entering. Like the pre-school, our primary classes are also mixed-age groups. Junior primary (Grades 1 – 3) consists of children aged 6 to 9 years while senior primary (Grades 4 – 7) consists of age groups 10-13 years.

Because we know that each child and family are unique, we consider the child’s developmental milestones, the family’s goals, as well as the child’s readiness for a structured classroom setting.
At Pretoria North School, we are committed to supporting each child’s growth in a caring and inclusive environment. However, our school is not equipped to provide specialized remedial education or therapeutic support. Our staff are not trained to assist children with specific learning or developmental challenges that require professional intervention.
